Racing to the Finish Line

In response to the devastating floods of 2008, we hosted a 5K run/walk to raise funds for families in the Cedar Valley that were affected by the floods.

Footsteps for Flood Relief: 5,000 Meters Because We Care will took place on April 4th, 2009 at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.

The 241 race particpants showed they cared by raising $3,732.62 for the Cedar Valley United way to give to the families in need after last year's flooding.

Proceeds raised will go to the United Way to benefit families in the Cedar Valley affected by the 2008 flooding.
