Footsteps for Flood Relief: 5,000 Meters Because We Care will took place on April 4th, 2009 at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.

The 241 race particpants showed they cared by raising $3,734.62 for the Cedar Valley United way to give to the families in need after last year's flooding.

Prizes were awarded for the top Male and Female time overall as well as top Male and Female times in each age category
